Microsoft is acquiring SwiftKey for its work on artificial intelligence

Find Out How Many SIMS are Issued Against Your CNIC?

Due to security situation in Pakistan, it is very important to keep track of SIMS issued against your CNIC. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has worked a solution to provide a consumer-based facility by which they would be able to find out the total number of SIM(s) registered against their respective CNIC number with each mobile operator.


Besides, an sms gateway (by sending CNIC number without dashes to 668) PTA has also provided an online system for SIM verification.


Procedure for online SIM verification is very simple. Enter your CNIC without dashes (1234567898765) here and click submit button.


Benefit of this system is that it is free unlike SMS based method which charge your mobile account.

Apple releases iTunes 12.1 with new iTunes widget for Notification Center

Apple has just released iTunes 12.1 for OS X Yosemite, the first major update for iTunes since the release of iTunes 12 along with OS X Yosemite.


iTunes 12.1 introduces a new iTunes widget for Notification Center, which allows you to see what song is playing, skip ahead etc. similar to the playback controls found in the Control Center in iOS. You can also mark the song as your favorite, or buy the song right from the Notification Center if you’re listening to iTunes Radio. The widget doesn’t get added automatically, you need to add the iTunes widget by clicking on New at the bottom of the Notification Center, and then the add icon, to add it to Notification Center.
