Sony is developing a new handle for VR games

Sony patented a new control handle and system trace the user's hand movement.

The first patent shows a new handle with a circular button to move it through the thumb, with a set of buttons also above the ring button. There is also a trigger on the outside of the handle that can be installed on the wrist by a bar. Sony supplied the new handle with sensors capable of knowing the strength of the pressure to turn it later to interactions within the virtual environment seen by the user.

The second patent is a system on the virtual reality glasses to track the movement of the hands and fingers of the user, a feature that requires special cameras in the current generation of company glasses of virtual reality.

There are no assurances or models of new technologies. Patents and their registration do not mean that the company will launch them as products at a later date, but incorporating sensors into the handle adds another way to interact with virtual environments.
