The launch of the latest Nexus smartphone is not very far, and we just came across what appears to be the official images of this upcoming smartphone. The Google Nexus 5 recently showed up online for a while on the US Play Store.
The 16GB variant of the Google Nexus 5 has shown up online and it has been priced at $349 (21,400 INR approximately). Later it was taken back down, however the guys over at Engadget got a nice look at it.
This new 16GB Nexus 5 was listed along with the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10. It seems that the Nexus 5 will feature a 4.95-inch IPS TFT display and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM. The device further includes an 8 megapixel rear camera with OIS and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It will come in 16GB and 32GB size variants and will be powered by a 2,300 mAh battery. It will support wireless charging along as well as NFC and LTE connectivity.
The first press photo of the Nexus 5 has also showed up online, revealed by the guys of MobileSyrup. The photos shows the device showing a Telus branding and it looks similar to the photo leaked on the Google Play Store.
