While, BlackBerry has not made any kind of official announcement, recent reports suggest that the latest smartphone from the company may soon arrive in the Indian market. It is expected that along with some other announcements, BlackBerry will launch this new smartphone in the market on October 24.
The BlackBerry Z30 has already showed up with a few online retailers, however no further information has been revealed as the retailers have not mentioned the pricing and the availability details for the smartphone.
This device is the first BlackBerry phablet and it was first unveiled a about a month ago. It is equipped with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display which has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels while most of the new phablets feature a 1080p resolution display.
The BlackBerry Z30 comes with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor which is clocked at 1.7GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB of built-in storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
This is a 3G capable smartphone/phablet which comes pre-loaded with BlackBerry OS 10.2. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and ability to record HD videos, it also sports a 2 megapixel camera on the front.
