| KGI: Samsung will not place the fingerprint sensor inside the screen in the Galaxy Note 9 |
Although the technology is officially present in smartphones such as Vivo X20 Plus UD, one of the world's largest technology companies is still unable to accomplish this task yet.
Talking about the fingerprint sensor technology inside the screen, which seems to be more difficult than we expected, the famous analyst from KGI said that Samsung decided to cancel this technology from its calculations on the next phone Galaxy Note 9.
The analyst adds that the cancellation of this technology comes because of the technical difficulties experienced in the case of a protective screen and also with some different environments such as exposure to water and other conditions that affect the speed of the fingerprint.
The cancellation of the technology in Note 9 does not mean canceling it altogether. Samsung may succeed in adopting this technology next year.
