Waymo cars are driving up to Atlanta

Waymo, a subsidiary of Alphabet, announced that its self-propelled vehicles had arrived in Georgia, specifically Atlanta, after having previously reached a range of cities in the United States that exceeded the 24-city barrier.

In recent weeks, Google has begun to re-3D mapping the Atlanta city center to provide its own cars, and is now ready to move passengers free of charge from one location to another in the hope of introducing citizens to the benefits and safety of this type of vehicle.

During these tests, Google seeks to experiment with the performance of the car in different weather conditions. Each city or state is characterized by a different atmosphere that gives a wider idea of the problems to be addressed more quickly.

The Governor of Georgia said that the efforts of the state's task force and its innovation officials contributed to the state and its cities as a destination for various technology companies, welcoming Waymo and self-driving techniques that a promising future awaits.
