Following the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge drop test video, early adopters of the LG G4 decided to put the phone to a similar trial. In the LG G4 drop test video, the phone gets dropped twice - vertically and screen first.
First, the device is dropped vertically and nothing much happens. The second attempt sees the smartphone hit the ground screen first - its display shatters and the back cover pops out along with the battery. However, the screen still detects touch and functions normally once the LG G4 powers up.
We wouldn’t recommend you try this out with your LG G4. Getting a screen replaced could surely burn a hole in your pocket.
