LG's latest flagship smartphone - the G4 can now be purchased from Carphone Warehouse in the UK. The company has listed a total of three color variants - a silver plastic one, a brown leather one and a black leather option, which, at the moment, is exclusive for the retailer.
Interestingly enough, all three variants can be picked up on contract for as low as £35 from Vodafone, with no apparent markup for the leather models. Normally, the more-premium back should cost about £30 more in the total price.
Speaking of which, also quite inexplicably, only the brown leather variant can currently be purchased from the vendor SIM free. The price is set at £519.99, which coincides with what we saw in pre-orders and is still slightly below the Galaxy S6, which retails for about £560.
As you may know, the G4 is LG's flagship offering for this year. It comes with a 5.5-inch QHD screen, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
