Another week has passed and, as it has become customary, we take a look back at what excited you, our readers, most during the past few days. Sony is still knee deep in the Xperia Z4 saga and, at this point, it almost feels like the Japanese company is deliberately mocking us. More photos of the elusive phone have surfaced, as well as a few camera samples, painting a picture of a device quite similar to its predecessor.
But the mobile world does have a lot of other announcements to discuss. HTC unveiled a new 5.2-inch smartphone, dubbed the One M9+. It combines the traditional styling of the Taiwanese company, we have grown accustomed to, with a couple of twists, most-notably - a physical home button, complete with fingerprint scanner and a revived dual-camera setup on the back.
LG also has a new device in store. The company's latest flagship - the G4 will adopt a bold look, with a stitched leather back. It will also come equipped with an f/1.8 aperture camera with laser focus, developed in-house. Huawei is also gearing up for a new release. The Huawei P8 will probably be powered by an improved Kirin 935 SoC.
In other news, the Asus ZenFone 2 is coming to both India and Malaysia in late April and the Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL have already arrived on the emerging Indian market. Also, Oxygen OS, OnePlus's latest custom Android ROM, finally saw the light of day and is currently being enjoyed by OnePlus One owners. Naturally, Samsung also made the cut. The Korean tech giant is reportedly developing a brand new custom core architecture for the next Exynos chip line. The technology is codenamed "mongoose" and could extend the company's lead in the mobile processor front even further.
