So far the only LG tablet to get updated to Android Lollipop is the G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition, unsurprisingly since in that case such rollouts are handled by Google.
However, if you own one of LG's three midrange tablets launched last year, you're apparently in for a treat too. The LG G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0, and G Pad 10.1 (pictured below) should all run Lollipop starting this Sunday, on April 12.
This is obviously the intended day for the commencing of the rollout. Getting it to all the devices out there might take a few days, keep that in mind. And as usual, we might see different regions scoring the update at different times.
On the other hand, LG says the updates will be available to download on its website as well, so perhaps you'll be able to grab the necessary files and install them through your computer if you don't like waiting.
At this point it's unclear if LG has included any additional new stuff in these updates, aside from what Lollipop brings with it from Google's HQ.
