Buy-one-get-one-free deals are not new in the smartphone market and now Motorola is offering a free Moto E to buyers of the Moto X, both in their second generation. The Moto X (2014) will set you back $500 off contract, and Motorola will throw in a free Moto E, otherwise worth $120 value.
The price is for the 16GB version, but you're free to run it through the Moto Maker customization tool and get storage upgrades and different trim options for a few bucks extra.
The Moto X (2014) sits a notch below the flagship Moto Maxx and comes with a 5.2-inch FullHD AMOLED display, still-relevant Snapdragon 801 chipset and 2GB of RAM. Meanwhile the Moto E (2015) delivers LTE connectivity on a budget and sports a 4.5-inch qHD screen, the popular Snapdragon 410 chipset with quad-core processor and a single gig of RAM.
The offer is valid in the US for a whole week and expires on March 24. You can head on to Motorola's official website where you can check carrier contract options as well.
