Facebook updated with ‘Place Tips’ to get more localized information from friends and family

Facebook has been working hard to get the News Feed, the central piece of streaming information for most Facebook users, to provide as much content as humanly possible. Now, a pretty big new feature is headed into the News Feed for the iOS app, as Facebook has just announced “Place Tips.
