The Meizu MX 4 Pro was officially announced late last month and in now seems that the Chinese manufacturer is almost ready to ship the new device. The company posted a promotional banner boasting, that 6.7 million customers have registered their interest in the Meizu MX4 Pro device.
The headset bears a lot of visual resemblance to the Meizu MX4 but packs more power Exynox 5430 chipset, 3GB of RAM and Mali-T628 MP6 GPU. The formidable powerhouse is adorned with a 5.5 inch 546 ppi screen with the odd resolution of 2560 x 1536 pixels.
Complete with two cameras (20.7 MP main and 5MP front), NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and powered by Android 4.4 KitKat the Meizu MX4 is a true flagship device, with a rather attractive starting price of $410.
It is not yet clear if the smartphone will be initially available outside China, although it is listed on Meizu's international website, which is certainly a positive sign.
Another important point to make is that the claimed 6.7 million customers are simply registered for a MX4 Pro and did not actually preorder it, which makes the whopping number a lot less impressive, given that registrations do not necessarily translate to sold units.
In any case the Meizu MX4 Pro is a very interesting device that offers a lot of performance for the buck, so it has every chance of doing well once it hits the shelves.
