Bathukamma 2014 grand finale celebration details, live webcast, time, date and venue

Bathukamma is a flower festival celebrated by Hindu women of Telangana State, India. The celebration will last for 9 days ending on Durgashtami. Bathukamma celebrations resembles the cultural spirit of Telangana.



The final stage of Bathukamma 2014 will be celebrated today (2nd October 2014). Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium Hyderabad, Telangana will be the venue for 2014 Bathukamma grand finale. Thousands of Bathukammas will participate in the event at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium. 25,000 women will take part in the Saddula Bathukamma fete.

• Hyderabad Collector MK Meena will control and provide necessary arrangements at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.

• Saddula Bathukamma celebrations starts at 6pm where Governor ESL Narsimhan and his wife starts the proceedings by releasing baloons in the air

• Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will also participate in the programme.

• Sports personalities Jwala Gutta, Y Soundarya besides Mount Everest conqueror Malavath Poorna are also invited.

• 3000 police will be appointed for smooth running of Bathukamma 2014 celebrations.

• 100 CCTV cameras and 300 video cameras will be fixed to live monitor the programme.


• 
  


• The Bathukamma 2014 celebrations will lasts till 11.30 pm on 2nd October 2014.
