Sony press event starts at 16:15 CEST in Berlin. There Sony is expected to announce the next generation Xperia devices - Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

Sony should be prepping new wearables, too - the SmartWatch 3 and a new SmartBand Talk with e-ink display.

Naturally, Sony will be live streaming the event, so you can join the fun as well and follow the new gadgets as they unfold.

Update: The IFA TV servers seem overloaded, so you might experience "connection timed out" issues.
