We are just under two weeks away from the Microsoft IFA event, where the Lumia 830 will go official and the rumor marathon is naturally picking up the pace. The latest leak comes from Brazil and consists of several live images of the smartphone.
The shots were released by the Brazilian telecommunications authority the countrys equivalent of the the FCC in the US FCC and TENAA in China. They confirm that the Lumia 830 smartphone will be carrying Microsoft Mobile branding as the company that now owns the Nokia smartphone division moves closer to completing the rebranding process. The Nokia logo is still present on the front, but we are obviously another generation closer to the moment when it will be gone for good.
Rumored specs so far include a Snapdragon 400 chipset, LTE connectivity, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage (expandable). The innards of the odd-looking camera module are rumored to include a 20MP PureView camera, plus a 5MP front-facing camera. The screen should be 4.7" big with 720p resolution.
The Microsoft IFA event is set for September 4 (time yet to be confirmed) and well be on site to bring you all the details on the Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 as they appear.
