Samsung Master is a clamshell feature phone for South Korea

Tags: Samsung , Android

Samsung unveiled another flip phone, but this one isn't Android-powered. Despite being a feature phone the Samsung Master borrows some of the trademark features of the company's flagships. This includes faux leather look, a pedometer and emergency mode.

The Master has 3G connectivity on SKT and KT for all the browsing you can do on its 3" QVGA screen. There will be a 2G-only version available on LGU+ and SKT. The flip phone also has a 3MP camera, FM radio and a 1,000mAh battery.

Loud mode boosts the speaker to 70dB to make sure you don't miss notifications. The emergency mode sends out a help message to a preselected list of numbers, similar to the Galaxy S5 feature. Also like the S5, the Samsung Master can count your steps.

The phone measures 112.5 x 57.5 x 14.8mm when closed and isbe available in Metallic silver and Montblanc Black at launch with Wine Red coming soon.
