Nokias initial Android offering, the Nokia X, didnt really deliver much in the specs department. In fact, despite having Googles OS on the device, it doesnt have a Play Store and the handset does little to even suggest that it bears any resemblance to other droid offerings on the market. But even though Nokia still seems heavily invested in the Windows Phone game, it does look like the Finns will continue with the Nokia X line with the upcoming Nokia X2, and the latest handset has some new features.
Weve learned from a leak that the X2 will be sporting a Qualcomm MSM8210 chip, possibly a quad-core one, with 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage space.
So how does this processor perform? Well, if the leak is to be believed, the X2 managed to nab a score of 11827, which isnt too shabby for a super-budget-friendly handset like the X2 (the X retailed for about $100).
If Nokia can make the X not only a cheap handset, but a decent performer as well, they might have a real winner on their hands, and a device that consumers wouldnt need much convincing to snatch up.
