LG L65 Dual with Android 4.4 KitKat launched - NDTV

LG has added one more budget smartphone to its L series with the launch of the LG L65 Dual. The smartphone is available in Russia at a price of RUB 7,490 (approximately Rs. 12,500) and is expected to release in other markets soon.

The smartphone seems set to arrive in a single-SIM variant as well. @evleaks on Wednesday tweeted an alleged press render image of the LG L65's single-SIM variant.

The LG L65 Dual, as the name suggests, comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The L65 Dual features a 4.3-inch IPS LCD display with a WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 217ppi. The smartphone packs a similar 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB of RAM as seen on LG L70 Dual.

The L65 Dual sports a primary 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB. Connectivity options on the LG L65 Dual include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, EDGE/GPRS, micro-USB and 3G. The device will be backed-up by a 2100mAh removable battery.

The LG L65 Dual measures almost the same as the L70, at 127.2x66.8x9.6mm, with just 0.1mm added thickness. It comes in two colours - Black and White, and weighs 126 grams. LG has also added its Knock Code feature on this smartphone.

LG has also designed smart covers called Quickwindow for the L65 Dual. It provides instant access to the clock, weather, music and more. It also allows the user to accept or reject the call from the cover.
