LG L65 Dual budget smartphone launched - Times of India



NEW DELHI: LG has expanded its budget smartphone line, L series with the launch of L65 Dual. The android smartphone has been listed on LG's Russia website and is available at a price of 7,490 roubles (Rs 12,700 approximately).

The dual-sim smartphone sports a 4.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480x800p. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM, the phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest iteration of Google's mobile operating system. The phone also includes a feature called Knock Code, which lets users unlock the phone by tapping the phone in a specified manner.


LG L65 sports a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity options, the phone offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G. It comes with a 2100mAh battery. The phone's hardware specifications are similar to that of the LG L70 barring the camera. T he L70 has an 8MP rear camera.


There is no information on the phone's India pricing and availability, at this point in time. LG had previously launched two mid-range dual-sim Android smartphones, L70 and L90, part of its L Series III, in the Indian market.
