Cell phone tower planned for west end of Carter County

Cell phone service may improve soon for some Carter County residents. The Carter County Planning Commission pushed forward with plans to erect a 150-foot Verizon Wireless cell phone tower on Miami Drive, which is off of King Springs Road, at their Tuesday meeting.
