The Nokia X Android smartphone

Nokia's first collaboration with Android is bound to be an interesting one - especially when it comes to seeing whether Nokia has opted to use its own app store, maps and email system over Android creator Google's services.

Following in the footsteps of the launches of the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520 tablet in recent weeks, Nokia, like Samsung, is expected to announce its latest handset on February 24.

Recently leaked photos suggest the handset will feature dual-SIM card support, 4" WVGA screen and rear-facing camera. The camera itself is believed to be a lower-spec than expected 3MP, positioning the phone at the budget end of the market.

Slated for a Christmas consumer release date, the new smartwatch is said to sport Bluetooth connectivity and Qualcomm's Mirasol display wizardry.

HTC is also expected to discuss a new digital wristband designed to play music at the conference.
