Both the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphones run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and are now officially available for purchase.
The Gionee M2 features a 5-inch display with a FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and a Mali 400MP GPU. The M2 has a 1GB of RAM to support the processor.
The Gionee M2 comes with an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front shooter. It has a 4GB of inbuilt storage with the support of 32GB of expansion via microSD card.
The dimensions of M2 measure 144x72x10.5mm, and it packs a massive 4200mAh battery. The standby time on the battery is rated at up to 555 hours, with a talktime of up to 31.5 hours on 2G, and 24 hours on 3G.
The smartphone will be available in Black and White colours, and feature connectivity options like 3G, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and FM radio.
The Gionee Gpad G4 features a 5.7-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Cortex A7 1.5GHz quad-core processor and PowerVR Series5XT GPU. The Gpad G4 also has similar 1GB of RAM like the Gionee M2.
The Gionee Gpad G4 comes with a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage with the no support for expansion via microSD card.
The dimensions of the Gionee Gpad G4 measure 163.5x81.3x7.95mm, and it packs a 3200mAh battery. The standby time on the battery is rated at up to 375 hours, with talktime at up to 26hours on 2G, and 14 hours on 3G.
The smartphone will be available in Black and White colours with features like 3G, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and DTS 3D surround sound.
