'Don't be a glasshole', Google urges Glass users - Telegraph.co.uk

The guide also suggests to ask permission before taking photographs or recording videos of others, to remember "you're probably looking pretty weird to the people around you", and to "be patient and explain that Glass has a lot of the same features as a mobile phone (camera, maps, email, etc.).

"Also, develop your own etiquette. If you're worried about someone interrupting that romantic dinner at a nice restaurant with a question about Glass, just take it off and put it around the back of your neck or in your bag."

While the guide advised against wearing the device when "water skiing, bull riding or cage fighting", it failed to mention official protocol for wearing Glass while driving.

A woman was cleared by a Californian court last month for receiving a ticket for driving and wearing her Glass headset, as the Judge ruled there was insufficient evidence to suggest the device was being used at the time.

Current Glass owners paid $1,500 to be among the first to wear and test the device, and were given the opportunity to invite three friends to participate in the scheme last year.
