THE MOVIE
The Dirty Picture is a very popular movie of Bollywood Industry, featuring Vidya Balan & Emraan Hashmi as its prominent Actors. I believe this film to be the return of Vidya Balan in being in famous Bollywood movies. There have been lots of chats too, about the making of this movie, like the fact that Vidya Balan had to gain some weight in order to suit to her Character's role.
Also the tale of this film is believed to be inspired by True Story.

The tale is about a poor girl Reshma, who gets a chance to work with a superstar "Surya Kant", in his movie "Silk". Then she also becomes quite popular in no time. But then something very bad happens, when Reshma is denied by Surya Kant & other producers. She goes into depression. Even her enemies try to save her now. But... Let's see what happens next.
