Samsung didn't wait until Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2014), which officially opens on Monday, but already launched two new devices for photography lovers. It is about Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 and Samsung NX30, both coming with new features from the first generation.


Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 is offering NFC function for photo sharing and has a more powerful battery, ie with a capacity of 2000 mAh, along with a lower weight of 260 grams. Otherwise, the specs remain the same: 16MP sensor, 21x optical zoom, OIS image stabilizer and a Super Clear Touch LCD screen of 4.8 inch display. In addition, Samsung EK-GC200 receives more power: a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory + micro SD slot up to 64GB and Android OS 4.3.


In terms of applications, Galaxy Caemra 2 brings Samsung Link, Samsung ChatON, Story Album, Xtremera, Paper Artist, S Voice and other Google services.


Samsung NX30 comes with lots of new features compared with its predecessor NX20, like NFC function, better images, the 20.3MP sensor and an improved display.

The new Samsung NX30 features a hybrid auto focus system that can identify the subject framed in only 80 ms. The touch display based on AMOLED technology of NX30 can now be positioned in several angles. Samsung added a 3.5mm jack for the camera, dedicated to its external microphone.


South Korean manufacturer has not yet announced prices of the two new devices and no official launch date, but we'll find out more at CES 2014, where both gadgets make their appearance on Samsung's stand.
