New Delhi, January 28, 2014 — HITACHI AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED today announced that the company will exhibit for the first time at the 12th Delhi Auto Expo to be held from February 6 to February 9 at New Delhi's Pragati Maidan international exhibition center. In the "Components" category, the company will exhibit a wide range of Hitachi Automotive Systems' products and technologies designed to support the global evolution of the automobile.

Hitachi Automotive Systems Group, which is one of Hitachi's Six Business Groups, is expanding automotive components business globally and aims to further develop in the global market based on a business model of growing the "local production for local consumption".

Hitachi Automotive Systems is focusing on the development of its four system businesses; engine management systems, electric powertrain systems, drive control systems, and car information systems, by utilizing its superiority and expertise in electronics technologies. Hitachi Automotive Systems is focusing on innovation that links and integrates key electric control and electric drive system components into systems that achieve high-efficiency energy management and improve safety control, convenience and driving pleasure.

As part of the expansion and strengthening of its global automotive components business, Hitachi Automotive Systems is focusing on establishing its operations in India, where the automotive market is expected to continue registering strong growth over the long term. In April 2012, HITACHI AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS (INDIA) was established in New Delhi.

HITACHI AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS (INDIA) will exhibit jointly with HUECO Electronic (India) Pvt. Ltd., which is expanding the company's automotive aftermarket parts business in India, in Stand No. 1 in Hall H6A. Additionally, during the same period, Clarion, which is one of the Hitachi Automotive Systems' group companies, will also exhibit in Stand No.14 in Hall 7.
