NEW DELHI: Canadian handset maker BlackBerry has announced an update for its BlackBerry 10 operating system, aimed at helping users be more productive and staying better connected.
The update -- available for BlackBerry 10 smartphones likes Q5, Z10 and Z30 -- include hundreds of new enhancements and refinements, BlackBerry said in a statement.
These include customize pinch gesture to filter BlackBerry Hub, actionable lock screen notifications and picture password for quick unlocking, it added.
The update will also help BlackBerry Z30, Q10 and Q5 smartphones to unlock the built-in FM radio in these handsets, allowing users to listen to local FM stations.
