Spice Mobility has announced the launch of a new Android smartphone in the Indian market today. Dubbed as Smart Flo Mettle 5X, the phone has been priced at INR 6,499 and will be available in the coming days from online retailer Homeshop18.
Spice Smart Flo Mettle 5X features Android 4.2, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 5-inch display, and 8MP tear camera. The phone also comes with dual-SIM support, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and 1800 mAh battery.
"Smart Flo Mettle 5X provides an ideal choice for urban youth and customers who are looking to up their style quotient. This product series has been conceptualised following a deep understanding of consumers' need for premium look even in the middle/affordable range. This latest offering by Spice is a perfect amalgamation of functionality, style & entertainment. We continue to deliver the best android experience without sacrificing on performance and features," said T M Ramakrishnan, CEO – Devices, Spice Retail Ltd.
According to Spice, Smart Flo Mettle 5X packs four launchers, which offer the user an option of choosing different homescreens as per his/ her interest. In addition, there are right unique unlock options, Flip to mute, super power saver and pre-loaded BBM on the smartphone.
In addition to the Smart Flo Mettle 5X, the company also plans to launch two more models in the Mettle series, the Mettle 4X and Mettle 3.5X, which will be released later this month.
