New Delhi: Korean handset maker Samsung Electronics added another smartphone in its Galaxy range— Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2.
Let's have a look at five interesting features of the smartphone.
Display and Storage
The phone has 4-inch TFT capactive touchscreen. It also boasts of WVGA screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 Pixels. With a 768 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM the phone has expandable Storage Capacity of 64 GB.
Processor and OS
The phone has a powerful 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor. It runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system and has 4 GB internal memory. The dual sim phone has an interactive user interface.
Multimedia/connectivity
Customers can also experience popular applications such as ChatOn, Facebook, Gmail and Newshunt in their regional language. One can also access apps from the Samsung application store in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, Marathi and Gujarati. It has UBS, Bluetooth, 3G and Wifi connectivity. The phone supports WAV, MP3, MIDI, FLAC music player and 3GP, WMV, AVI, WEBM, MP4, ASF, FLV, MKV, 3G2, M4V video player.
Camera and Battery
The Galaxy S duos 2 has a 5 megapixel primary camera as well as a 0.3 megapixel secondary Camera with LED Flash, CMOS and Auto Focus. The phone packs 1500 mAh boasting talk time of 8 hrs (3G).
Price
When it comes to Indian consumers, price of the product becomes a decisive factor. Keeping in mind Indian buyers, Samsung has priced the device very reasonably. The phone is a mid-range device in Samsung Galaxy series. The Galaxy S Duos 2 comes at a price of Rs 10,990, however online buyers can get it at a little lesser price. Galaxy now has models priced between Rs 4,900 to Rs 47,900.
