  • Intex launched its new smartphone - Aqua i6 - which is powered by MediaTek's second generation quad-core processor, the MT6582, clocked at 1.3 GHz. It has a 5-inch FWVGA display and runs Android OS Jelly Bean (4.2.2). It is available for Rs 8,990.

  • Lenovo has launched what it claims to be the world's first dual-mode notebook PC with 10-point multitouch. The device is powered by the Windows 8 operating system and flips 300 degrees. The 14-inch notebook enables users to switch between Laptop and Stand modes. The Laptop mode is the classic mode for notebook PCs that features an integrated keyboard and touchpad, while the Stand mode is designed for touch usage. It costs Rs 42,250.
