Both are going to be among the best handsets. Samsung Galaxy S5, Note 4 release date still away, but bidding for cameras begins
Samsung's new flagships the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 are doing rounds in world market. It is when rumor mills have started to make fresh gossips surrounding their next editions, possibly Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4. As per latest rumors, Samsung LSI and Sony are prepping themselves for a bidding battle to become the provider of camera, maybe a 16MP sensor.
Samsung LSI touts its ISOCELL technology that can certainly give an edge for the camera making unit's proposal. It is also a part of Samsung and so the connection between the LSI and Samsung Mobile will clearly be rather smoother. But, sadly, ISOCELL camera is only available in 13MP module as of now.
In case of Sony, the Japan tech maker has always been enjoying huge repute in developing camera sensors. A lot of major phone makers even Samsung hire the Sony tech when it comes to camera. See, you have a Sony sensor in your latest Galaxy S4. And so, being a leader in point and shoots, DSLR and EVIL sensors, Sony can also be an unavoidable bidder.
By the way, rumors are aplenty that Samsung is to surface it fresh S5 flagship as early as January next year. Different from its usual schedule of mid-the-year, the South Korean tech giant reportedly intends to bring up its new Galaxy S5 a bit earlier to grab market frenzy from very early year.
Regarding rumored specs, the Galaxy S5 is likely to feature a 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor, 4GB RAM, a solid graphics card and more. The newly developed processor is said to become a 14nm unit. When it comes to rear camera, as we know, it is anticipated to be a rather heavier 16MP unit, different from its current model's 13MP sensor.
