Huawei will launch HiAssistant

As expected, Huawei will not be on the lookout for smart voice assistance as the company has devoted itself in the past years as one of the main competitors in the world of phones and it is necessary to create a voice assistant of its own.

Huawei will soon unveil its own intelligent assistant named HiAssistant, which is expected to be able to answer questions and identify things such as Google Assistant, run the phone like Bixby from Samsung and integrate with search and ecommerce services such as Alexa from Amazon.

Other jobs will be offered by HiAssistant such as translation, restaurant search, flights, directions, navigation, list of movies, songs, music albums and much more.

Reports suggest that HiAssistant will probably be available in the Chinese market with P20 phones but will later be available for all phones running the kirin processor 970 such as the Mate 10, in conjunction with the EMUI 8.1 device.
