Apple plans to launch a cheaper version of HomePod |
When Apple last year announced Homepod, the price was exaggerated, especially as there were many cheaper alternatives, but it seems the company plans to enter the competition in a stronger size by launching a cheaper version this year.
Since HomePod is still a new product, Apple may not release a whole new version but will reduce the price of the current product while improving it with more software features such as Siri.
Some estimates suggest that Apple's HomePod assistant will be sold at $ 150- $ 200 in the US during the second half of this year.
Apple's HomePod is currently sold at $ 350, which is very high compared to the alternatives available to even similar options in terms of capabilities and size, especially from Amazon and Google, providing a range of small and large home audio assistance at reasonable prices.
On the other hand, new rumors said that Apple plans to launch the Face ID technology in the iPad pro at its conference for developers next summer.
