Android P may offer more features to block calls

Android developers have discovered evidence that the next version of Android may provide more advantages to block calls built-in directly into the communication application.

The new criteria that can be applied to block incoming calls from numbers not registered in the contacts, special numbers which do not appear according to the service of the telecommunications company, numbers from public phones, numbers do not show any information about the caller.

Telecommunications companies can block the feature in users' phones, so they can sell as separate external services. It is too early to say that Android P will provide these additional options in blocking incoming calls, but they are already feasible.

It is worth noting that the Android versions of some companies such as Xiaomi and Samsung offers these advantages for years, but we are talking here about the provision in the raw version of Android to provide the rest of the companies the trouble of development.
