The next iPhone has reportedly entered early production

According to a report in Bloomberg, the next Apple iPhone has entered early production. The Cupertino giant is expected to unveil the successors of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in September.

The next-generation iPhone lineup is tipped to feature Force Touch-capable displays. The tech giant has allegedly been working with suppliers for the past couple of years to get the technology ready for mass production.

Force Touch debuted on the Apple Watch and the 12” Macbook. The technology allows users to access different functions on a device depending on the strength of the pressure they apply to its screen (or trackpad).

Unsurprisingly, the iPhone 6 family successors will feature the same design as the currently available models. Volume manufacturing of the duo is tipped to kick off next month.

This is not the fist time we hear about Force Touch functionality in the next iPhone. The hotly anticipated device is also said to feature tougher aluminum than the model it is bound to replace.
