HTC One M9+ lands in the EU in mid-July

Tags: HTC, Android

It looks like the rumors were right, and the HTC One M9+ is headed to Europe indeed. Just a few days ago a usually reliable leaker of HTC-related stuff told us that the handset would be out in EU markets in the third quarter (so from July to September).

And today we get a confirmation of that fact, thanks to some Dutch online retailers, which have already listed the One M9+ on their websites.

The phone is set to become available in the Netherlands on July 14 in grey. It will be priced at a whopping €760 in SIM-free and unlocked form. At this point it's unclear if the One M9+ will go on sale in other EU countries on the same date, but its launch elsewhere shouldn't be too far removed from it we gather. So possibly by the end of July you could see it in other markets too.

It's also worth noting that in China there are two additional color versions of the device, gold and silver-gold. These might also make their way to Europe of course.

The One M9+ was announced in April. It comes with a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen, a dual rear camera setup akin to that found in last year's One M8 (though with a 20 MP main snapper this time around), a 4 MP UltraPixel front-facing cam, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 2,840 mAh battery.

It's powered by the MediaTek MT6795T chipset, boasting a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
