iPhone 6 pre-orders in China reportedly reach 20 million

According to a report from China, pre-orders for Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have reached 20 million. The Cupertino giant opened the books for its smartphone duo in the country a few days ago, on October 10.







The report points at higher interest towards the 5.5” iPhone 6 Plus in the vast market. The data is said to include pre-orders from Chinese wireless carriers and other retail channels, including e-commerce platforms.




Apple’s iPhone 6 duo hit the shelves in 36 new markets today. The high-end smartphones will be available in a total of 115 countries by the end of this year.
