Microsoft teases Nokia Lumia 830 in IFA event invite

As we get closer and closer to September, more and more smartphone makers are announcing their IFA events. After Samsung and Sony, now it's the turn of Microsoft's mobile division.

The company has started sending out the invite you can see below for an event on September 4, on the eve of the IFA trade show.

The "O" in "more" has been replaced by the camera module of the oft-leaked Nokia Lumia 830, so it's pretty much a given that this phone will be unveiled at that event.

And given the bright orange color used in the invite and the fact that we've recently seen the Lumia 730 in a very similar hue, we'd venture a guess and say we'll also see that handset get official at the same time.

The Lumia 830 has been rumored to come with a 13 MP PureView rear camera, though everything else about it is more or less a mystery.

Things are much more clear for the Lumia 730, which should sport a 4.7-inch 720p touchscreen, an odd 6.5 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front snapper for selfies, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, as well as a 2000 mAh battery.

Both models are due to launch running the latest iteration of Windows Phone 8.1.
