The Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos LTE (carrying the model number G9009D) has been available in China since April and now it is rolling out to international markets as well. The first set of countries where the phone is now available are the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
The phone has been promoted in several magazines and is launching today for a price of $748 (AED 2,749). The Galaxy S5 Duos LTE is expected to make its debut in Poland, too, but pricing isn't known just yet.
In the US Welectronics is offering the phone for $899, which is a bit high, considering the phone launched China a few months ago with a price tag of $850.
Тhe Samsung Galaxy S5 G9009D is identical to its international sibling save for the 1.5g difference in the weight. From the Snapdragon 801 chipset through the 5.1" 1080p Super AMOLED screen to the 16MP camera, IP67 certification and 8.1mm waistline - the two are virtually the same.
The Galaxy S5 currently retails for a nudge over 500 (£400) and we suspect once its DUOS sibling reaches western Europe, it would carry a slightly higher price tag.
