Lenovo announces the ThinkPad 10 tablet and ThinkStation P300

Yesterday, Lenovo has announced two new Windows devices that are great options for businesses: the ThinkPad 10 tablet and the ThinkStation P300.


ThinkPad 10:

The ThinkPad 10 is a great choice for the business professional. It has a lightweight premium aluminum design and comes with a vivid 10-inch full HD display with Gorilla glass. You can use the ThinkPad 10 is four flexible modes: Tablet, Stand, Laptop and Desktop. The ThinkPad 10 can connect to an optional ThinkPad Tablet Dock or USB3.0 docking station where you can connect an external display, mouse, and either the Compact Bluetooth keyboard or directly attach the ThinkPad 10 Ultrabook full sized keyboard. You also get a digitizer pen with the ThinkPad 10 for natural writing with pinpoint accurate. On the inside, the ThinkPad 10 comes with 4GB of memory and up to 128GB of storage. It also has TPM for encryption to keep the device secure. And Lenovo is offering optional 3G/4G LTE wireless too.


The ThinkPad 10 will start at $599 (U.S.) and will be available starting in June on www.lenovo.com and at selected retailers.


ThinkStation P300:

The ThinkStation P300 is a new entry-level workstation from Lenovo that boasts a new purposeful design for flexibility. For example, the bulky handle is gone replaced with red touch points and an extended lip in the front and back that makes the workstation easy to carry and deploy. For easily switching out components on the inside, the ThinkStation P300 has a new FLEX module that supports a combination of an ultra-slim optical drive, 29-in-1 media card reader, IEEE 1394 Firewire, and eSATA. The ThinkStation P300 comes powered by the latest Intel Xeon E3-1200v3 processors as well as new 4th Generation Intel Core processors and ECC memory support.


The Lenovo ThinkStation P300 will start $729 (U.S.) and will be available in tower and Small Form Factor models starting in June through Lenovo business partners and on www.lenovo.com.
