Reliance Infrastructure is facing vandalism and refusal of levy payment by local villagers in Haryana at its Gurgaon-Faridabad toll plaza. Ratan Tata joins board of China-backed Boao Forum
Ratan Tata was on Thursday inducted as a member of the Board of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), a rare distinction for an Indian in the Chinese government-backed influential body. �This is the first time a senior Indian business leader was accorded the distinction,� K Nagraj Naidu, India�s consul general in Guangzhou, who is attending the BFA being held at held Boao, in south China�s Hainan province, said. It is also a recognition for Tatas as a global conglomerate, he said. BFA was formed in 2001 on the lines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
GMR completes Chennai Outer Ring Road stretch
GMR Highways said on Thursday that the company has received a provisional certificate for completion of group�s Chennai Outer Ring Road project with effect from June 15, 2013, from the Tamil Nadu government and all concerned agencies. This marks the completion of phase I of the Chennai ORR project, it said. GMR says that its ninth highway project will add R118 crore as cash flow every year for the next 17 and half years.
