Chalk it up to deliciously dry Brit humor or perhaps he really couldn't imagine all of the ways people would come to use his invention -- hey, the guy is human -- but World Wide Web creator Tim Berners-Lee caught his interlocutors off guard Wednesday during a session on Reddit with this exchange.
"What was one of the things you never thought the internet would be used for, but has actually become one of the main reasons people use the Internet?" a questioner wrote.
"Kittens," came back the one-word reply.
