Panasonic launches its P31 smartphone in India for Rs 11990 - Gigjets

Panasonic has launched its mind-ranged P31 smartphone in the Indian market and this device should be available for purchase starting this week for a price of Rs 11,990.


The Panasonic P31 sports a 5-inch FWVGA resolution display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM. The device further includes 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.


The smartphone has an 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and full HD video recording, it also has a secondary front facing VGA quality camera.


In terms of the connectivity it features dual-SIM support along with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS capabilities. It comes with a 2,000 mAh battery which the company claims can provide up to 9 hours of talktime on 3G and up to 600 hours of standby time.


It will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and skinned with the company's Play Life user interface. This will include some features like Gesture Play, Pop-I Player, Music Café and Ultimate Saver. Panasonic has further mentioned that the device comes with a heat-sink design-based feature which maintains the smartphone temperature through controlled heat dissipation.
