Facebook's Messenger app is now available for Windows Phone 8 users to download from the Windows Marketplace. Microsoft had recently announced at the MWC that Facebook would be launching the Messenger app for Windows Phone soon. This is the first app Facebook has created for the platform, considering the official Facebook app for Windows Phone has been developed by Microsoft and not Facebook.
The Facebook Messenger app for Windows Phone comes with all the basic features including stickers and locations sharing options which are available on its app for Android and iOS. With Facebook Messenger in place, Microsoft has filled most of the holes it had with getting marquee apps.
