The slate is powered by a quad-core 1GHz Allwinner CPU and comes with a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM on board.

Featuring a 10.1 inch IPS display offering a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the InFocus New Tab F1 also includes 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front snapper, and a 7000mAh battery.

Apple partner Foxconn is manufacturing the tablet, but it is not expected to be a competitor to the iPad or its Android rivals, with Mozilla said to be targeting the emerging markets.

The InFocus New Tab F1 is expected to be priced between $100 and $150 (£60 and £91).
