Samsung readies 4GB DDR4 mobile DRAM. Galaxy S5 the first in line to get it?

Now, most of you would think that 3GB RAM on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an overkill, but clearly, engineers at Samsung beg to differ. The company has readied world’s first 8Gb (1GB) DDR4 mobile DRAM. Fabricated on a 20nm process, it offers 1GB on a single die, the highest density till date. Stack four of them together, and Samsung would be shipping smartphones, tablets and what not, with 4GB...
