Here is a list of the gadgets launched in India this week.
HTC finally announced the availability of its gigantic HTC One Max phablet in India at a not-so-tempting MRP of Rs 61,490 while the MOP is Rs 56,490. It is an enlarged version of the HTC One and has a 5.9-inch 1080p display. Weighing 217g, the HTC One Max is 10.3mm thick.
Alongside the Nexus 5 smartphone, Google launched its new Nexus 7 tablet in India. The new Nexus 7 tablet is now available on the Google India Play Store. The tablet comes in two models - 16GB and 32GB. Google is selling the 16GB WiFi only variant at Rs 20,999, while the 32GB WiFi only variant comes at Rs 23,999. Google is also offering the 32GB LTE variant (WiFi mobile data) at Rs 27,999.
Google is selling the Nexus 5 (16GB model) for Rs 28,999, while the 32GB model is available for Rs 32,999. The phone comes in two colours - black and white.
Intex unveiled the prototype of its first octa-core smartphone. Intex says, the phone, which is yet to be named, will be launched early January next year at around Rs 20,000.
Portronics launched all-in-one device - the Superbox. It is priced at Rs 2,499.
Simmtronics launched its new 3G tablet, the XPad Freedom, in India. The tablet runs Android OS, v4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is engineered with a quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The tablet has a 7.85-inch display (1024 x 768 pixels). It is priced at Rs 13,999
iBall has unveiled what is claimed to be the world's first universally compatible hands free - the Univo. The highlight of the show is a unique switch that works with any phone, tablet, music player or device with a 3.5mm audio jack. It costs Rs 599.
Karbonn's new smartphone Titanium S7 is up for pre-order on e-commerce site Flipkart.com for Rs 14,999. The phone is expected to be available in India soon. The website lists the estimated release date as the 5th week of November.
Sunstrike Telecom introduced a new smartphone for the Indian market, the OPS 80D. It has a 5-inch display. The phone is yet to announce its price.
