Microsoft has been offering holiday discounts all week, but its full Black Friday sale started a few hours early today, with discounts on Lumia smartphones, the Surface tablet, and other Windows-based devices.
Microsoft's holiday store is now live with a number of new deals, but act fast, three gadgets are already sold out: a no-contract Lumia 520 for AT&T, the Dell Inspiron 15z laptop for $399, and the 250GB Xbox 360 console for $199.99 are out of stock.
But a number of discounts are still available, including the original Surface tablet for just $199, down from $349. A Surface bundle - with the 32GB tablet, a choice of select Surface sleeves, a $25 Windows Store app and games card, and either a new backlit Type Cover 2 or a Touch Cover - starts at $368, a savings of up to $250.
Surface Sleeves are also up to 35 percent off, while a Surface Free Cover Holiday Bundle includes the Surface tablet of your choice, a backlit Type Cover 2, and a free Touch Cover, starting at $478.88.
If you're eyeing a Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 521 off-contract from T-Mobile is $79 ($20 off), the Nokia Lumia 1520 for AT&T is $99 ($100 off), the 41-megapixel Nokia Lumia 1020 for AT&T (pictured) starts at $99 (down from $199), and the Samsung Ativ S Neo for Sprint is $49, down from $199.
Other touch-screen PCs on offer include: the Gateway NV570P10u for $329 (down from $649); the Lenovo IdeaPad S415 for $399 (down from $479); the HP Pavilion TouchSmart 10-e010nr for $249 (down from $299); and the Dell XPS 18 All-in-One with an Intel Core i5 for $999, down from $1,349.
