Google Nexus 5 is finally in the Indian market and everyone seems to be eager to get his or her hand at it. One of the best handsets when available for two third or even half of the price of other similar product should definitely get this mammoth response. The handset was launched on Google Play's India page yesterday and instantly went out as it was sold out completely.
The response is not unexpected. Hundreds of thousands of people have been awaiting its arrival with bated breath for the last several weeks when it was showcased and launched in the United States and nine other nations in Asia and Europe and it was no surprise that the response was great.
The same happened with Google Nexus' previous version Nexus 4 that always got picked up pretty fast as soon as it came to Google Play. Its demand is still good. But the new Nexus 5 handset is certainly a big threat to other top of the line handsets like Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 and HTC One beside to Sony Xperia Z and similar products. The only issue that Google handsets face is supply issue. Its supply stabilizes when it is already five or six months old in the market and other handsets with better specs overshadow it.
